Before Anna Nicole Smith’s death about three years ago, she endorsed a Trimpsa product. This product did seem to work for her but somehow someone got her to confess that she had taken it with a laxative.

That probably was the least of her problems, considering how she died, and considering her history of drug use. Nonetheless, the Trimpsa hoodia product seemed to have had an effect on her.

That is, a positive effect-in that she had lost weight. So, how is this so? Well, she used the Trimpsa hoodia supplement that has in it a variety of ingredients-some of which are hard to pronounce.

Not all of them are three and four syllables long however. There is some green tea extract in this product, and a citrus component as well as cocoa extract. So, it is not all bad.

It is considered questionable though, since it has so many additives in it. Furthermore, this product is costly. The good news is that it does have a fair share of the hoodia plant in it.

However, when you mix this plant source with other ingredients it can do one of two things-cause health problems or become ineffective. It can aggravate side effects such as anxiety, insomnia, or restlessness. It could even cause heart problems.

At the very least, it might not even work at all. Therefore, you should be careful about using a product like Trimpsa. It would be better to seek an alternative.

In the recent past, one of the products that have hit the top when it comes to dieting is Hoodia. However, as with all other dieting products, everybody wants to know whether Hoodia is something which is safe or not. Many a time, weight loss products have been known to have side effects which adversely affect the user. Thus, there is a need to be well informed about the product which you are keen on using. Read on to find out more about the side effects of Hoodia, if any.

There is a section of health experts who are of the opinion that Hoodia products are absolutely safe for anyone who consumes it for weight loss purposes. However, there are some others who think that Hoodia has the same side effects as aloe. In case we assume that Hoodia indeed has the same side effects as aloe, then it is something which should be avoided by pregnant women. Aloe is something which facilitates menstruation. Thus, being something which increases menstruation, it should be avoided during pregnancy.

The question about the safety of Hoodia is one that has been asked over and over again. However, till date, there is no concrete answer available to that question. There is a lot of research that is currently going on about whether appetite suppressants are all right for the health or not. But then there is nothing final about Hoodia till now. Although no unpleasant incident has been reported yet, there are numerous diet conscious individuals who are not starting on Hoodia just yet because they want to be sure that it is safe before they consume Hoodia products. Being cautious is quite a justified stand considering the fact that numerous people lost their lives to the Fen – fen. Moreover, ephedra was recently removed from the market because of safety concerns. These are certain scarring things which have scared people to a certain extent and made them wary of new products related to dieting. But there is one thing about Hoodia that you can be rest assured of, it is not a stimulant.

Hoodia is definitely safer than stimulants. It is a product which has helped many individuals greatly and as far as user feedback is concerned, Hoodia is quite a winner.

Although there are things about Hoodia products which are quite comforting, many of us can choose to stay cautious and not try out the product at all before it is certified to be safe. But in case you really want to go for an appetite suppressant, it is best to go for Hoodia rather than for artificial stimulants. The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Africa is already conducting a wide study of the Hoodia products and trying to establish whether it has any side effects or not. So far, the results of their research have been positive. The whole world awaits the final result with bated breath. So, while the scientists try to figure out whether Hoodia is safe or not, you can try it out in moderate amounts. It is also quite a wise thing to seek your doctor’s advice before finally going for a Hoodia product.
